Reliability Principles

Reliability is one of key characteristics differentiating an enterprise-grade ready cloud service from an average consumer service. To ensure reliability of our offerings, Virtru is following these core principles when managing infrastructure:

• Manage change in automation - All changes to infrastructure are automated and version-controlled.
• Automatic failure recovery - Recovery from workload failures in expected situations doesn't require direct intervention. All workloads are also constantly monitored, to alert operators on unexpected metrics changes. It helps to prevent situations leading to outages or other types of failure.
• Test recovery - Exercise testing failures in development environments.
• Enforcement of policies and procedures - Create and enforce multiple layers of security around development, testing, and deployment processes.
