CSA STAR
The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Security, Trust & Assurance Registry (STAR) program is built on the key principles of transparency, auditing, and harmonization of standards. The STAR is designed for service providers to demonstrate best practices and validate the security posture of their cloud offerings. The publicly accessible STAR registry allows cloud customers to assess their security providers in order to make the best procurement decisions. There are several levels of CSA STAR participation from self-assessment (Level 1) to continuous auditing (Level 3). To read more about the STAR program: click here.
Consensus Assessment Initiative Questionnaire
Virtru has been a Level 1 (self-assessment) registered vender since January 7, 2019 by submitting the completed Consensus Assessment Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ) to the CSA STAR Registry. CSA requires organizations to update the CAIQ on at least an annual basis in order to maintain an active registration. You can obtain Virtru's completed CAIQ for review directly from Virtru's listing on the registry.
Rather than completing individual security questionnaires and in order to keep the Virtru Security team focused on maintaining the best security posture possible, Virtru also offers a more detailed version of the CAIQ to support our customer's audit and due diligence processes. Customers looking for additional details in the CAIQ can request this version from their account manager or by submitting a request to the Support Center.
